  • AMerican Culinary Federation Young Chefs club President 2023-2024

    As president of the Young Chefs Club for the ACF I had the pleasure and opportunity to show young chefs the many possibilities and endless opportunities that are available to them in the wonderful hospitality industry. Throughout my time in the position I along with my amazing team were able to host monthly webinars with many different industry professionals in order to inspire young culinary professionals around the world. Another great thing that we were able to do was host virtual competitions for young chefs one of which was a Mac and Cheese competition where we gave away cookbooks to the winners. I also made monthly recipe videos to showcase the ACF ingredient of the month in order ton show the many ways that that ingredient could be used. During my time as president I also had the chance to visit the United States Capital in Washington D.C and create a recipe to be served at the annual culinary alliance celebration with the U.S covenant and the James Beard foundation and many amazing chefs from around the world. I was able to broadcast this opportunity to show young chefs the importance of dreaming big and never giving up. To wrap up the year at the ACF convention in New Orleans I created and prepared 3 sample dishes with Arctic Gardens products for over 500 people. During preparation for this event I was fortunate enough to have local high school students help me prep and fire the food for service. My time spent as president of the young chefs club was one of the most rewarding positions I have been able to hold this far and will forever cherish the lives I was able to impact.
