I have a variety of skills that are extremely useful in the restaurant industry.  Throughout my 3 years of working in the restaurant industry, I have learned skills such as knife skills, communication skills, currency skills, and customer service skills.

Edible Arrangements / Employee

June 2018 - August 2018, Abilene Texas

While working at Edible Arrangements I prepped, cut, and dipped fruit in preparation for sale. I also was the Head of Front Desk Management, I kept the front area stocked and clean, I also made smoothies, assisted customers, and handled transactions.     

Gourmand Kitchen / Busser

August 2018 - October 2019, Cypress Texas

While working at Gourmand Kitchen, I served as a busser. I cleaned tables, reset tables, and performed opening and closing duties.  

Abilene Country Club / Chef Assistant

June 2019 - August 2019,  Abilene Texas

While working at Abilene Country Club, I did most of the prep work for the pantry and salad bar. I managed and restocked the salad bar, helped prep for catering events,  as well as assisting the chef with other prep work in the kitchen.   

Sterling Country Club/ Line cook

May 2020 - May 2021, Cypress Texas 

At Sterling Country Club I prepared bar style food as well as salads and sandwiches. I also assisted with banquets and  special events when needed.  On Thursday nights I fully managed and prepared the pasta bar. 

Royal Oaks Country Club/ Prep Chef, Line cook

September 2020- May 2021, Houston Texas

At Royal Oaks Country Club I assisted the chef with multiple baqentes and special events.  I also managed the pantry side of the food line. Many of my tasks included precise knife cuts and producing food in a timely manner. 

Cafe Natalie/ Server

March 2021- June 2021, Houston Texas

As a server for Cafe Natalie I served plated and buffet style dinners for multiple high end weddings and functions. As a server for Cafe Natalie I learned the proper place settings for a plated dinner. 

Life Cafe At Lifetime Fitness/ Team member, Line cook

May 2021- July 2021, Cypress Texas

At Life Cafe I handled customer transactions as well as prepared a variety of cold and hot beverages. At Life Cafe I also had the responsibility of keeping the Grab and Go Items ready and stocked. The majority of my time at Life Cafe I was a cook preparing fresh sandwiches, salads and bowls to order. During my time working at Life Cafe I also assisted with special events and was nominated for employee of the month.

Education

Cypress Ranch High School

I recently graduated from Cypress Ranch High School. While in highschool I took 3 full years of culinary arts as well as participated and placed in a variety of competitions .  In the fall semester of 2021 I plan on attending The Culinary Institute Of America in Hyde Park.

Awards

I have received many awards academically such as honor roll as well as through culinary arts such as getting top 5 in many of the FCCLA competitions I have participated in. I also, through culinary arts, have gained my Servsafe Manager Certification. I received 3rd place in my district's Cupcake Battle in the year of 2019. I was also nominated for employee of the month at Life Cafe.
